The Application of the Roll Former

Featured by a threaded clutch welded on the frame, the standing seam roll former is composed of a machine frame, an automatic lifting mechanism and an automatic roller mechanism.

The main shaft is divided into five sections, three straight sections and two threaded ones with three rotating rods distributed equally spaced by 120 degrees, of which the ends are capped by rollers and wheels oppositely. By the worm and gear, the motor drives the main shaft to draw the automatic lifting mechanism and the automatic curling mechanism thereby achieving the automatic seaming process.

As a specific automatic crimper, the standing seam roll former belongs to the textile industry for paper tubes. On the principle of manual extrusion and mechanical transmission, the utility model adopts mechanical and pneumatic transmission to be automatic.

Under the constant speed rotation of the curling die, the relatively fixed paper tube rotates at a high speed by the uniform stroke command of the pump head cam 404, from which the friction heat facilitates the even rolling.

The feed cylinder is used to control the cam while the stroke switch is to control the cylinder so as to achieve the uniform feeding and discharging automatically.

The utility model employs the tail cylinder to control the cam and the stroke switch in the adjustable stroke so as to be favorable for the main applications: the crimping, the wrapping, the trimming, the turning edge and the pressing rib groove of square and ellipse metal utensils.
