The main task for operating the steel silo roll forming machine is to relieve the contradiction between the pressure of the roller and the thickness of the material.
The Operation Process:
The pressure of the grinding roller is a high pressure of 50-200MPa from the hydraulic system applied to the two grinding rollers of a necessary parallel way to ensure an even force exerted.
An appropriate pressure should be determined by a reasonable thickness of the material cake. A weak one defects the extrusion while an excessive one burdens the grinding roller limited by the rated power of the motor and over-tightens the material cake for a hard break-up and a difficult selection.
In order to fully utilize the pressure, the material cake shall be of an idealized thickness with an enough material layer and a reasonable particle size, that is, a reasonable distance gap shall be formed according to diversified properties of the materials and their stable throughput of the grinding roller.
Among the three factors (the extrusion pressure, the roller’s speed and the cake's thickness) affecting the efficiency of the steel silo roll forming machine, the operator can adjust the roller spacing (roller gap), the roller pressure, the feeding amount, the return control (the powder selection capacity) and the air volume in the case of set specifications and parameters of a roll forming machine. For the one without the final grinding mechanism, the operation also needs to be in line with the equipped tube mill.
